A driver who was traveling at speeds of up to 120 mph on Highway 605 led police on a chase from Orange County to Whittier on Sunday.

Officers responded to what was initially believed to be a possible report of a kidnapping, but was later revealed to be a call for a driver wanted for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The report came from Laguna Beach, according to law enforcement dispatch.

The driver traveled on surface streets and highways in Cerritos, Long Beach, Paramount and Whittier, sometimes reaching speeds of 90 and even 120 mph on the highways and narrowly avoiding other drivers on surface streets. Eventually, the driver stopped the vehicle near the intersection of Glengarry Avenue and See Drive in Whittier.

There, NewsChopper 4 captured two people exiting the vehicle and entering what appeared to be a business through an open rear door. Two people were arrested shortly after.

Police have not released the names of the two arrested individuals.
