“To the person who killed my little brother, you know who you are and I know you are careful. So do what is right and bring justice to my brother,” said Maria Romano, the victim’s sister during the Thursday evening vigil.
Police say the shooter opened fire from a parked vehicle.
The shooter was last seen fleeing north on Bristol Pike in an unknown vehicle after firing a dozen shots.
“What happened to my younger brother was not only heartbreaking, but it had a huge impact on everyone’s lives. It’s something no one will ever forget or get over,” Romano said.
Romano was in ninth grade at Snyder Middle School. His father wants to be remembered for his optimistic personality.
“He was such a funny kid, he was just a kid growing up doing things that all the other kids in the community were doing, and I love everyone that came out tonight,” said Peter Romano, the father of the victim.
Bensalem police said it was still unclear whether the shooter was involved in the large fight.
Officers are still working to obtain a description of the suspect and vehicle.
Anyone with information is asked to call Bensalem police.
